One of the places I like in Santiago is the Teleferico in Cerro San Cristobal . I recommend because it has one of the best views in Santiago, there are also bycle paths, many trees and areas where you could share a picnick afternoon. Tickets can be bought in advance on website. You have to go straight ahead Las Palmeras and go to the bus stop near the traffic light and wait for the one hundred four bus. The bus is red and will go along Alessandri Avenue, which then becomes Los Leones, you have to get off at the bus stop between Suecia and Providencia avenue. My favorite means of transportation is the metro because you can move from one place to another in a safe way, plus it is unlikely that it will not pick you up unless there is an emergency.
